Riggs Beer Company
As Matt and Darin Riggs were growing up on their family’s 5th generation Champaign County farm, farming was going through some tough times. Small farms weren’t generating enough profit to support a family and their dad advised them to keep their future career options open. But farming was in their blood, and as they grew up they were always looking for ways to continue the farming operation.
It wasn’t until both were going to college that they discovered just how to add that extra value to their farm-grown product: by turning grain into a magical liquid substance known as beer.
In June 2016 Riggs Beer Company opened their doors to the public. The brewery sports a four vessel, 15-barrel brew house with ample fermentation capacity. The tap room is surrounded by a 200 seat, family-friendly beer garden as well as test plots of barley and hops. Riggs is a local Illinois brewery that prides itself using time honored brewing processes and locally source raw materials direct from their family's farm.

Shock Top Brewing Co
Before your favorite Shock Top was Shock Top, it was a seasonal brew called “Spring Heat Spiced Wheat”. Using proprietary wheat and brewed with every ounce of our passion, this quirky, quality beer won gold and bronze in the ’06 & ’07 North America Beer Awards for best Belgian White. That’s right: we shocked the beer world.
We knew we had brewed something special and that this unfiltered, award-winning taste deserved to be shared. So we changed the name to match its shockingly refreshing taste and Shock Top was born.
We’ve since grown past our signature Belgian White to include a variety of beers full of unexpected flavors. Explore our Shock Top varieties for yourself and discover your new favorites.

The O’Fallon Brewery was founded by Fran and Tony Caradonna, in 2000. In January they ordered their brewing equipment and sold their first keg on May 6, 2000. The Caradonnas did all the brewing and selling for the first two years, brewing only one style (O’Fallon Gold), selling only kegs and delivering only in St. Charles County. Over the next several years they continued to grow their brands and distribution area. In May 2011 they sold the brewery to Jim Gorczyca, but Fran continues to play a part of day to day operations as the Brewery’s General Manager.
